1989 Accord LX: Sold with 208k-now somewhere around 230k with new owner
Current:
2014 Elantra Sport 6MT
2000 Montero Sport 4x4 (beater, trail rig)
i have an auto starter in my manual si and it works fine.
just give them a good eye up side by side
O.k. get this
I go to pick up my check come back out car no starty.
Roll it back to start, go to o'riley's buy the cheapest starter $70
I notice it looks totally different.like it weighs more has a more solid casing and the connection points are at different places.
Go home and see that the starter wire connections plastic surround is all broken up so i go to my local o'riley's to try to trade. They tell me i somehow got the nippodenso version which was $80-100
Now the car sounds like a truck when i start it! I love it!
BTW before this starter everyone thats been in this car has been an auto starter. I noticed the auto one has a longer kick out gear but didn't see any other differences
