Electro Gyrocator: Worlds First Navigation System

I'm posting this in this section because it was a fucking MAD TYTE JDM part for the 2g Accord. How badass would factory navigation be for an old school Honda? Just was reading about it on Honda's website today. Who knew this even existed?

It couldn't be that hard to make new transparencies and print them off for your local area either. God it would be so cool!

P.S. If you ever find or see one of these, I MUST have it. I don't care the cost, I want this worse than a digital dash. I'm now signing up for Japanese class.

I noticed that! That's what's weird, must have come out in some places where the 1g was still for sale. Maybe only the 2geez in Japan.

I could only imagine fucking with microfiche while driving and lost somewhere in southern Japan. I bet things would only get worse after I inevitably spilled beer all over it.

Or if you had a new GPS satnav, you'd be fucking with the buttons trying to figure out how to work it, then spill your beer on it instead.

If our beer down here was as good as the Canadian equivalents, I'd probably have done the same.

Have you guys read the article about that device?

It was so precise that they had problems with maps being wrong!

Yeah isn't that nuts? How an analog solution could be so damn accurate. I bet it's actually more accurate than GPS.

John, you could always shoot for OEM airbags or 4ws for one of you Accords. You could DIY at this point with your intimate knowledge of old Accords!

Haha! Heck yeah, functional S2000 steering wheel would be pretty sweet in the old Accord. I like your idea with the integrated homelink better though. Having the garage door openers in the visors would be tits. Or an overhead console from a newer Accord with some sunglass holders and maplights, painted the retro blue.
