Do heads on 86-89 accords interchange?

Hi all. New to the site and need to ask a quick question. I have a 88 accord lx 2.0L, carb, 5 speed. The head is cracked. I need to know if a head off a 89 fuel injected model will interchange with my carbed one? I assume that the cam profile is different, but I have my good cam here. Can anyone tell me if I should lay down the money for the FI head?

yes the FI head will work just fine.... just swap your cam shaft back for the carb car for the most stock running setup...


if i remmeber right.. you can run the FI cam shaft and its a bit more agresive... but im not positive on that

yeah the head will fit just fine...make sure to clean off the block good and get a honda OEM headgasket.
