    tranny mount

    i want to kno can i drive w/o the torque tranny mount i feel good w/o it ima put it back on i just need to get anouther rubber insert thing....

    Are you talking about the dogbone? If so i wouldn't recommend it.

    i wouldnt recommend it either. just buy a new insert and save yourself some serious hassles down the road.

    If it's only temporary, you can drive without it. Don't be too hard on the engine and shift smoothly, it shouldn't break. I wouldn't leave it like that tough, I've had bad experience with mising torque mounts

    he has a hole in his hood i believe. or someone did, not sure if its carot or not..

    Lol, I don't have a hole in the hood. The engine did hit the hood tough. It made a small dent in the reinforcement but nothing that's visible.

    What happened is that the front mount snapped, the engine moved and killed my axle, almost destroying the oilpan along the way.

    You could ditch the torque mount if you had a really good front mount.

    I would be very careful and not drive around like that very long. Too much movement of the engine assembly might cause failure of the front mount. It doesn't seem to be very durable once it gets to be a few years old and since it is hollow and fille with oil the top tned to separate from the bottom.

    dame and i really hate that mount makes my engin bay look bad cause i did a wire tuck and looks better w/o it lol
