    grinding

    when i go to start my car i hear a grinding sound (at)....like the starter is flying and just hitting the flywheel and not catching...could i have broken teeth or something really wrong...i jsut repaced a starter not to long ago....i also have a rubber transmision mount bad could that be a problem with the starter linngi up with the flywheel???

    Check and make sure that the starter bolts didn't back off any.

    its probably a bad-dening starter. probably ur starter is dying slowly. That griding noise is because of a nasty starter or even a bad ground. check if they are good.
