I'm pretty sure YK86 (Yasu) has them or used to have them on one of his accords.

I wonder how they compair price wise to KYB GR-2's, both are oem equivilent's.

I put Sensatracs on mine about four years ago. I still have the original springs. It made a nice difference since my old struts had 150K miles on them. I guess, though, I can't compare them to anything else other than OEM.

Thanx for the responses, I only paid $260 for them so couldn't turn them down. I'm sure that I'll notice a huge difference, I believe my struts had 330,000km on them and one strut i think in the back was off some other car ( I didn;t know but it looked completly different. can't wait to try them out !

Is that Canadian dollars? If so, that is a really good price. I paid $200 for the set of four brand new at O'Reilly's and thought that was a pretty good deal. You should definitely notice an improved ride with less suspension bottoming as they are gas charged. (OEM struts are not)

Are these a brand/model of struts? I've never heard of them before.

When I bought mine I found out (via email from Monroe itself) that the ones sold through retail auto parts stores were called "Gas Matic Plus" and the ones sold through shops that install them were called "Sensatrac." They assured me that both were identical except for paint color and the name and that both had road sensing technology and lifetime warranty.

They have an even fancier line now called "Reflex." Don't know too much about them.

I used Monroe's for a long time in my accord and it was lowered well over 3 inches. Even that low I thought it rode decently and the best part was the lifetime warranty so if one went bad I would just go back to Schuck's and get a new one. I only paid $40 each and it was a special buy 3 get one free.

I'm um...ahem..um...running them with my H&Rs ( i know, i know...don't tell me), but it rides really good!!! I never bounce (except for really BIG bumps) and the car handles great. I got mine for 170 total from shuck's.

When it comes to cars, suspension is the part I know least about. Especially brand names.
