not bad, now all ya need is a little 10" sub and and 200 watt amp and you can have some great sound. that is, unless you want to go all crazy with subs. i just like somethin simple that wont attract thieves or police...

dave you live in the city or suburbs? cause where i live..people arent smart enough to steal things..lol but yeah my brother had the same setup as im doing.. and he never got anytickets really.. but i guess i will find out..lol

i live in a fairly large suburb of oklahoma city, but when my old system got jacket from my old accord, i lived in apts in the city. and the cops around here are ass holes and they love giving tickets to kids that crank up thier systems. and people are always stealin shit around here too.

even if you have a cheap set up if you crank it up and it sounds alright some people will try to jack it....they broke into my dx and i only had a 300 watt sub and amp...but no rear seat so it would sound good when i rolled down my windows.

i think my amp only puts out maybe 150w, 12" sony xplod sub. no backseat, its plenty for me. my cadillac had about 3700w goin to 4 JBL GT's and i blew my rear window, i used to DO this kinda stuff tho.

i went with a 2 way alarm and so far its not bad. it warns me when some one is near by and it works up to 1500 feet away....i tested the range at a baseball game parking lot and it was at least 3/4ths of a mile away and i could still lock my car. but in like my house i can only go like a block away before i dont get any signal.

mine was like 150 bucks...and installation was free because i know i guy who does alarms...i just reinstalled windows on his computer and i called it a fair trade. but i had to go back and retuck some wires cuz they were almost hanging out.

I agree. Get yourself a nice alarm and then build you system big My old cavalier got broken into when my sister had it and they stole the head unit and some cds. She did not have a alarm on it. I took the speakers out of the doors when I junked the cavalier and there is still broken glass all over, and this was about 3 years ago.
