I would buy all of it from Honda. That's good stuff. If you know somebody with a shop you can get a discount sometimes, they knock off for active accounts.
No you do not have to use Honda though, I got a Rock Gasket set last time just because that is what the machine shop has that did my head, and it had pretty good gaskets in it but not all of them were in there, like the oil pump seals, filter base seal , the timing cover dust seals, for example.

I remember a thread concerning the head and oil pan gaskets a while back but ccant remember what the concensus was and my computer is down so I dont have time to search for long on other folks computer. So which one must be from Honda?

Also I'm shooting for a basic budget block rebuild and try and get a little bump from a delta 272 a little head work and new exhuast

Critical gaskets suck as the headgasket, I would use Honda. As far as the oil pan goes, i used Felpro oil pan gaskets, and they always leaked. I got a Honda gasket, no problems.

So use the Honda head and oil pan gaskets. Got it. Thanx. Does any other seals or gaskets matter?
