Accord w/CRX tranny conversion?

I just bought a 88 LXI with the FI 2.0 w/ an automatic. I was wondering if a CRX HF manual transmission will fit in the car to help save on gas? Has anyone done this or does anyone have any info on the gearing of the Accord 5 spd vs. the CRX HF 5 spd? Thanks for any help!

Nowhere near the same tranny on these cars... will not bolt up.
If you search you will see there is info on 5spd swaps, trannies from 5spd accords and preludes of our era will work for you. Some also use gearing from integras in the housing. If you search you will find a wack load of info on this.

If you want to save on gas get a Trans from a 1986-89 DX/LX, there geared for mpg
