Question who thanx i shud chrome my wheels?

its like this. 2day i bought a set of honda rims made by enkei(aka. LX-I rims). i got them for $50 with some good tires on them. thas a damn good deal. the thing is, i want them to be chromed. i have never seen them in chrome but i can imagine what they would look like. they would look good on my car , maybe with a new body kit , paint job, and lowered. i plan to do all of this. that would be totaly bitchin. if u can find a picture or take a picture of some that r chromed or in anyway painted , post them. i want to keep my car all honda and these wheels r a simple way to do that. TELL ME WUT U THINKS
Keep it HONDA. Or at least Asian.™

i found someone to do my rims. this guy who owns a speed shop has a friend who could polish them to look chromed. he showed me a super charger that was done. it looked realy nice. he said that would be cheaper to do and would last longer without "pitting" u often see in chrome after a long time. plus i live in a tropical climate being in a coastal city. this salt air eats the hell out of cars and stuff.HEY AND TELL ME WUT U THINK ABOUT DOING THIS.

I would get something bigger than 13" before I sunk any money into it, but that's just me.

    yeah man 17's on up.

chrome wont pit if its done right, but still platin is gonna right, but its still gonna cost like 400. I got the bumpers rechromed on my gangsta (55 chevy) it was like 360.

hold up man I missed it, was that my part?

i know people thinx i shud get bigger rimz but me being a car guy want to had at least like 4 sets of rimz. so im thinkin for car shows and stuff, i will have the chromed LX-I rims. only because i want honda rimz from the year mine is. but i know they made the ordered ones in 15in. but of course im gona get some big azz rimz. at least 17s to cruise on. but still i think im gona get them chromed. or i think its realy just polishing the aluminium. however i do em, i give u a peep of em.

personally, i dont like chromse at all on a 3g. cause i am tired of looking at these ricers with a 4" tip, chrome rims, stickers and a loud stereo here. Thats why i am going with a gunmetal look, cause they are subtle and they look good flowign with the car and the color i have planned to get painted. I would say, dont get the rims chromed. wait, save money, and use it to get some better actual chrome rims of ur choice. for now, keep the money safe and saved.

Try using a metal polish called pro polish plus, it'll make aluminum look like chrome and it lasts along time. some harley davidson riders turned me on to it and it really works good. you can find it at www. crystalimagesllc.com. its cheaper than getting them chromed so save your money. good luck
