Damn i know this thread is old and from other threads ive read come to conclusion you sold this car lol but it looked good man i cant believe were it started and were it finished awesome job! ive got the same car this was def an inspirational thread to get started on some shit! Kudos bro!
nah man its all good! yeah, its been sold! (kinda want it back, or find another one) yup, the car had no rear window, trunk was full of water had a tree growing in the back. it was a bucket! but yeah man get started on your car! if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask me or anyone else, lots of info on this site! Besides, how do you think i learned all of this stuff? hehe!
one day I'll return.
I couldnt even imagine how bad you want it back haha it was clean! and all that work! wish i was around while you were in the process woulda been fun to watch but it was kewl to look through it all, hey since you mentioned it i do have a few questions... your engine looks dif then mine was yours an lxi? from what i thought they are the same car but just looks a lil dif i think my question is i was trying to install a short ram intake and there are a total of 4 hoses that need to be disconnected from the stock intake but when i disconnect and plugg the hoses the car starts and stays running as long as i give it gas but if i dont it slowly starts to choke and then just shuts off, any idea what i could be doing wrong? do i need to some how get those hoses in the new intake too?
Also just a little side note, great photography work bro!
Baaaammmm! Haha you did a good job bro. New timing belt and seals coming soon. Funny thing is, the guy I got this from acted like HE did all the work.

^^^^ Sick wheel bro
No, I got it from a guy named Jose from Rome, GA. He claimed that he painted it etc. (He originally wanted 3500 for it)ended up buying it for 2500 including the new wheels. Good deal considering I see the original asking price from 86ccord was 2000. It's a great car for the most part. She still needs a few tweeks here and there but over all it's amazing to see what it started from, to present day.

One of the rare occasions where an Accord increases in value![]()
yeah, that guy jose i'd believe the fact that he said he painted it an did all the work. bull shit. ive got the build thread and all to prove it. LOL! and that del sol he traded me was a fuckin turd. but its all good. i dont regret it or anything in general. everything is fixable. if i want to build another accord, ill buy one and build it the same way again! the only reason why i put it up for sale it was just simply time to move on. Enjoy the 3g man! keep in touch with it!
btw, if only he knew how much i sold his del sol for...
one day I'll return.
oh, and thanks tim!

Hahahha how much did you get for that deli? I enjoyed looking at the accord build! Yea dude, he straight up acted like he did everything. Im just like why lie? Oh well! Did u have a rattle coming from the passenger front side? Im just curious if you may know if it's the ball joint or not.
yeah, there was a squeak coming from the right side. The strut (KYB claims it was stock replacement) i put in there was much bigger than stock and when the suspension coil spring compresses and expands it hits the side of the strut which causes it to have a squeak/rattle noise. Back when i had it i would always jack the car up rub some automotive grease on the strut and it would temporarily fix the noise.
Thanks man, i spent a lot of time and effort on that car! i sold it for around 32.. hahah!![]()
