it is definetly a work in progress, i have plans to paint alot of the ugly parts silver now, to help keep the car from being overloaded with blue!

the first to go silver will be the vaccum hose box, the battery holder, and the fuse box. (even if its just the covers of the boxes it will help!)

i also want to get the vavle cover bolts/washers either in a chrome peice, or paint the existing ones silver.

    any other pointers?

how tough is it to put on one of those silver braided radiator hose covers?

yeah i know.. but i felt it was worth the risk to post to you.

i keep that cat near my car, and it attacks anyone who comes near, its the best alarm out there for the money!

btw, that was taken in my GF's aparment complex, i dont know why the cat liked the 3g so damn much!

AHHH i know there is a lot more shit i can make pretty under there, and you all have done it, so whats next? i know there are some more hoses i can take care of, but what else is simple that changes the look?

Those things for the radiator hose's are a BITCH!!! I fucked up soo many times, luckily they gave enough sleeving, if you want a nice one like that, buy the actual right size radiator hose that allready has the sleeving over it, and the ends on, because on our car, when you clamp down the sleeving after struggling to get it on without damaging it or bending the wires in funky positions, you cannot put on the fake ass bolt looking things that are supposed to go over the clamps. I think it looks better without the fake ass bolt things, I think it looks great with the sleeving and the clamps, but there is radiator hoses allready done, but they cost like 25 bucks +

NO way, all those florecent panel's are way to thin and brittle. I used clear turn signal assemblies out of a jeep to get the lens stock I wanted. Problem is, I need to find a junk yard that doesn't want to rape my wallet. They want $32 to 2 turn signal assemblies, thank god I got his during a rare 1/2 price sale.
I have a pair of lens ready made, but they aren't as nice as the ones I made for bobafett. Here's a pic of them.

Here's the one's I made for bobafett, notice the difference between them and the one's on the previous page. BTW, I'm thinking about trying out a set of smoked plexi glass one's, anyone interested in that? I'm also thinking about trying to go from near flush mount lenes to totally flush mount.

yeah i want to go for the tinted look as well, i am gonna try to make another set of lenses that are tinted, but i dont wanna mess up the clears, and i dont want to do it unless i can tint the corner lights too, so i will need an extra set of those!

Boba, Pep Boys has the Radiator Hoses in different leanghts that are allready decked out. they will be a single radiator hose and cost like 20-30 bucks and they have the sleeves allready over them and the covers to the clamps. Go that route instead, the trouble is not worth it to just buy the hose sleeves for the same price. I still got the Sleves for the 2 VACUME lines that are right by the fan. and I still got the fuel line sleves, I'm gonna try and see if I can do the fuel line one since the engine is torn apart.

Ohh yea, I think on White cars, Blue Tinted clear lens's look TIGHT, My friend has white focus with clear lenses on front bumper, and the rear tail lights, and he tinted them with a light shade of blue, LOOKS AWSOME, especialy since his wheels are crome with anodized blue tint over them so it looks FUCKING AWSOME! I get 20% Discount on the Sleved Radiator Hoses at Pep Boys. If you want me to price it for you. I will.....I can try and get you the cheapest deal posible.

Also, in size, what is the difference between the 86-87 LXi and 88-89 LXi blinker lenses?

They mount in completly different fashions and they are different in size, enough to stop people bent on using 88-89 lenes on 86-87 cars.

hehe... one of these days i might go with the sedan/coupe bumper, i think its an 88-89 style too... but i might also get the prelude kit if it works on our cars!

i saw goldyaccords car today, and his hatch looks really good with the different bumper on it!
