More progress with the car this past weekend. I went to visit a friend who lives about 900 kms away in the next province. I wanted to take advantage of the long weekend to get out of town and he wanted to help work on my car. Having a friend who is a welder/fabricator is awesome.
The main goals were to make brackets for my Recaro's as well as replace my magnaflow muffler with the RSR that I bought. Long story short, the RS-R doesn't fit, probably shouldn't have sold the Spoon N1 so quickly, but the seats are in and feel great! Took a bit longer then we hoped for, we were at it most of the day saturday, but they fit great and sit nice and low too.
On the road... the car ate up the highway miles well, and returned some pretty good fuel mileage too.

And the final product... Sorry for the shitty cell phone pics, I will take some better pics soon, car is filthy right now so it needs a good detail.

cant wait to see the vtax ha
Ok, small update...
Pick n pull finally had an 86 sedan on the lot for me to get a trunk lid from. Lid is in pretty decent shape and appears to be OEM.

JDM tails now will be complete, just need to get new bulb sockets for the trunk lights as I appear to have lost those!! damn~! ... Trunk will also need paint as well obviously.
And now to the big update... My steal of a deal on a b16a2... Going to take the head off for my B20 vtec conversion and sell the short block. Oh and there's my very dirty YS1 trans sitting next to it.

How's progress going
car would look 1000X better once you have the new bootlid on (Y)
Love those seats! And can't wait to see those Euro tails as well!
Thanks man,
No real progress as of late, I've had a pretty busy summer. Just enjoying driving the car, rolled over 300,000kms the other week on the odometer. And now I think my fuel pump is on it's way out. If I can just make it until the snow falls I'll be happy to park it then for the winter and start working on it again.
Thanks, I think so too! Just need to get new tail light sockets for the lights on the lid.. I appear to have lost mine :'(
Thank you sir! Me too!

Well, I can`t believe it`s been over 3 years since I last updated this thread.
Honestly, haven`t probably been on the forum since then. Between the forum being quiet and not really doing much to the Accord, I just haven`t spent the time here.
But, I personally kind of hate facebook car pages, peoples need for an answer to any question they have right that second, and the endless useless posts. The 3geez guys have done a pretty good job at keeping that page clean, but I still prefer the old days of the forum. But if no one (myself included) comes and posts here, then what good is it!?
So, here it goes... A bit of an update on me and the project Accord.
I haven't driven the car a ton the past few years. Probably only put on about 3000-4000km the past few years at best. This coming year, I am really hoping to put some more miles on the car.
I also just moved into a new place this summer, which came with a much nicer garage, and has partly motivated me to get back to the car and put some work in.
1. As I was getting ready to move this past summer, out back at my old place. Shanty looking garage and all.

2. Picked up a new daily this past spring. Got it from a friend in Vancouver and drove it back. Slightly modded 06 TSX 6spd. I must say, I love this car...

3. Moving into the new garage was a bit of an adventure. Lots of parts and shit to move. The garage isn't huge (about 20'x20') but it's the best garage i've had of my own. It fits both cars, and has some room to work. I need to build a work bench, replace the lighting with something better among other things. The garage and house are a project on their own.

4. Tucked the Accord away for winter. Winter seemed to come pretty early this year, and hit pretty hard. So I put the car away and back to the TSX.

So, now the real thing that has me motivated to put time back into this car again....
I had been wanting more power for some time now. The b20b I have is quite healthy, and the car is a lot faster than it was with the a20, but it needs something more.
At one point I had actually bought a later b16 off of someone local and was going to go b20vtec. Things happened and financially at the time it didn't make sense for me, so I sold the motor for a healthy profit and decided to think on it some more.
I have been interested in Jackson Racing Superchargers for a long time. Something about them and the power the put out, combined with the packaging just seem like a cool option on a Honda to me.... So, while browsing facebook marketplace a few months back I was pretty interested when I saw one of the b18b kits come up for sale. The problem was, moving is expensive, so are houses, and the cash wasnt really flowing for car parts hahah.
Fast forward a few months and low and behold the JRSC is still for sale. Oh, the guy listed it under Acura Integra, not under car parts haha. So, I message the guy, get some more details and in a couple of weeks my buddy Glen and I hopped on the road and drive round trip 350kms ish to pick this thing up. I had to take it off the motor myself too, and was able to account for all the parts and the condition of them.
So, this winter, I've got a new project on my hands, along with a small list of other mods to go along with it. Looking forward to keeping you all updated along the way.

I'm too new to really know you, but I respect your build and am excited to see you've returned to the forum. I've been thinking I should get back to the forum more often too, the fb page isn't doing it for me. Anyways, looking forward to the development of this new project venture; it should produce some fun results!
I always wanted to fool around with one of there superchargers looks like a good project.

Thanks all for the interest. Glad to still see some action on here!
Me too! I installed a supercharger on a friends e46 m3 years ago. Can’t be any harder than this right? Lol.
Also, blue I’ve got parts collecting for big brake upgrade too. Just need to order pads.
Lots of work ahead of me.
