    Total'd 93 Civic Si.

I know I should search, but this is kinda half questio and half gloat :P

My buddy wrecked another buddies 93 Honda Civic Si... I believe it is a B16. Brand new tranny.

I asked him how much he wanted for it, and he said "Make my Acura run right and I will give you the motor and Trans"

I think all that is wrong with his Integra, is a vaccume line or a clogged converter; it's got no poop Captain!

Is this a suitable swap? Can I use the tranny with his axles or mine?
Just a thought. I don't expect this to be an "easy" swap.

    u would need custom axis
    custom mounts
    and a custom harness

i believe since they dont make the placeracing mounts anymore and its rare as fuck to find a used kit

How would the Linkage for the Tranny work?? Would it?

How different are the mounts?? I know many fabricators, but I don't know if I should waste the money for a D16(I think it is D)

Don't waste your money on a D Series.

    Only B's I'd swap are B16/B18
    2004-2011?

    D15, B16, right??
I might have had those switched around.

    It's SOHC Non-Vtech.

if its a 93 civic SI the stock motor should have been a D16Z6 (SOHC V-TEC)..if its a non vtec its not the stock motor...either way you should send it to me

As I see it, its dont worth it to swap a D or B 1.5 or 1.6L... dont forget how much work will go into make it work, its just not worth it, as long its not a b18c or a f20b DOCH or a h22a..

    Thanks for so many responces.

I was asking because my Tranny in my Accord feels really old, like the syncrose are going out, and the tranny in this Civic is freshly rebuilt.

Plus my motor still feels really strong, so I don't think I wan't to get rid of it just yet.

Well, I can check today, but it didn't have what I thought was a Vtec Intake manifold. The kid doesn't really have the money or motivation to do a motor swap, and I don't remember if it was a 93, a 92, or a 94!

If it happens to be non V-tec, can I do an intake swap?

If it happens to be V-tec, can I do a head swap?

.... Infact, I'll go to his house and check right now.
