    venting the fuel tank

    well, i am considering removing my charcoal canister because it is in the way of where i want to mount something. of i were to remove it, how else would i be able to vent the fuel tank?

    Can you 0put the carbon canister somewhere else?

    The tank vents into the canister. If you remove the canister, it will just vent into the air and will smell at times. You should see the vent tube sticking out of the firewall, just stick some hose on it and move it wherever you want it to vent. The charcoal canister just stored it to be re-burnt by your engine later.
