    Nice score!

Sadly, my buddies cousin just took an 87 LX to the crusher BUT managed to pull the downpipe-tail tip off of it prior to demolition. I went to his house to play some poker (I won $85 tonight BTW!) and noticed an exhaust similar to mine! Apparently the kid had some performance head work done to his A20, and it ended up blowing the motor (Sounds like a port match was taken too far), so my biddy asked his cousin for just the exhaust.

2 weeks ago, I spent $115 for a flexpipe back exhaust with a cheesy turbo muffler... This is 2 1/4" piping, flexpipe back, with a FLOWMASTER 60 on the back!!! And guess what... the guy who has it has an 88 LX and seems to be having some power issues... I offered him the labor to do the vacuum removal mod for this exhaust and he was more than happy to barder. Wish I would have waited... There's $115 I will never see again.

    EPIC
    SCORE!!!!

It has been installed and sounds increadible... I advise everyone who wants known performance and a very nice sound, to look into the Flowmaster 60 series.

It is pretty loud if you want it to be... I can go through town and pass a couple cops and none of them bother me, but if I open 'er up, my dad said he heard me a mile and a half down the road (about where I hear Apexi's on Acura's)... It sounds increadible, though.

Lol! No... it sounds like a beef-cake 4 cylinder.

I have a megaphone looking tip on it, so that probably helped the rumble on the lower end...

It's loud when you give it gas fom 2k to about 4.5k... It's about as loud as stock at 4.5k+, but under that under power, you can't hear much anything BUT exhaust...

I have a very loud audio system, and at full blast, my exhaust keeps up when I am really down on it, but it's managable just crusing.

    Re: Nice score!

^^ heh. That sounds about like mine. It's really quiet up to about 3-4k, and after that it's pretty loud. It's great for city driving cause if you want to shut it up just shift gears, but holy crap does it suck on highways. The drive that I made to bitsize's house which is a couple of hours drove me crazy. And I was in 5th gear the whole way up. Needless to say I was averaging around 90 the whole time, lol.

    Re: Nice score!

If they are a smart shop, they should be able to swap mufflers to test them out...

If you search youtube for flowmasters on Honda's, there is nothing that compares... Mine sounds 10x better than any on Youtube.
