I've been searching for info for B20a mounts but I can't find any. Im just wondering if any other rear tranny mounts will work for the B20a. I was thinking a B20A5 rear mount. I know you can customize the A20 mount to fit but I kind of want to do that as a last resort. Anyone use any other mounts??

nah the rear mount on those a20's are different
oh ffs. I had my rear mount changed yesterday to a new one. The old one wasn't bad at all but now it's in the rubbish bin at the shop
Does that mount have any brackets, or is that just the dog bone?
The B20A has it's own rear bracket.

I bought a rear mount from a 89 prelude Si. It should be here soon. I know it has to be similar to the B20a

rear mount from a20a is different from it. the b18a mounts different again, and you cant use an auto b20a mount on a manual b20a gearbox. once again ive tried lol. i dunno what other rear mount will fit.i have a b18a manual rear mount lying around but no b20a ones as i sold it to someone

hmm...can they still be had from the factory or local non-north america honda dealers? bc i might be needing one as well. and a spare or two, just in case, you know?
Honda NZ can still order them from Japan, so Honda US should be able to also. Just ask for a rear mount for a CA3
Do you guys have any contact info for them? Because I would rather have the orginal mount rather than modified one.
You can get them out of Japan direct but shipping is not cheap. I used a third party company that purchased parts from honda in japan and shipped them to me. They part pricing was fine but they rapped me on shipping granted it went from japan to my doorstep in 3 days.
hmm...well, what are the part numbers i'm interested in? because they're liable to stare at me blankly without them. i don't think most people even realize that engine was even available on the world market.
Honda US/Canada can't order from Japan (Well, they just don't want to).
I contacted Honda NZ a while ago and they were very helpful. I got all my JDM parts through them.

why not modify the a20 mount to simply get it done.
as long as they dont modify the cross member or mounting location on the cross member you should be able to swap in an original later. right??
