Hi guys I just joined the forum and had a question. Okay so I read about the weird idle issue on some of these hondas but it seems like more with the carb'd. My car is the 88 LX-i hatch F.I. now when it gets warm the idle goes down to one line below 1k rpm, I think it is 750. When the headlights are off and i hit the brakes the car shakes a little with the rpm's going down a little (50 rpm). When I turn the lights on and hit the brakes it will go down a little past 750 rpm and just shake like a beast. Any help would be appreciated.

Right off I think of a loose alternator belt and possibly a vacuum leak or check valve on the power brake booster. You mash the brakes it uses vacuum to assist the power booster, sometime you can get a noticeable idle change from that.
