cool congrats on getting it running! It's damn close if a clutch setup is all that's stopping you from driving it.

more news, just found a f22b2 w/160,000k ish for 200 includes 5spd tranny from a 95 accord.... ex i think... i thought it was a good price so i picked it up... looks like the car will return to the road before it snows.

i think $200 was a fair price locally... no?

lol i start cars up without the exhaust because you can hear exactly how its running. u hear every miss and pop. I also usually take it up and down the road without the downpipe on to see how it runs and to wake all the neighbours up. then put the exhaust on

    Re: Project X: RWD Accord

i have it running with the f22b2, what a twat tryin to figure out that exhaust... the a20 downpipe works, but it has to be extented at the flange by about 2" or so... this is just my test pipe for now so i can run the car.. pretty loud with no muff on it.

anyhow, apears to run pretty nice.. spits out alittle black when i rev the piss out of it, but obviously caused by certain sensors not hooked up and i'm sure its just pissin fuel in without a proper regulator on that msd 85psi pump i got running into it... so gota sort that out.

    SO.. heres whats left:

mounting bracket for the fuel cell.
clutch line to the back of car, master/slave cyls already installed.
fix downpipe so it doesnt aim at ground, connect muff
reconnect rear brakes, bleed, test them.
    wiring.
    isntall axles.
    drive it!!!

make up other downpipe for remote turbo setup.
find oil filter sandwich plate for oil feed.
    get p06 ecu chipped/mapped.
    find 3gbar map sens(i think)
    drive it faster!!!!!

fab up plates to go under old engine bay and middle to back of car... this should keep alot of the junk out.

    Re: Project X: RWD Accord

    dun have pics, but

heres what i have accomplished so far:

rear suspension back together for the last time with axles installed, man they fit nice.
    brake system is hole again.
clutch line layed out fitted, just needs to be connected.
throttle cable needed to be refitted to f22 int/mani

    what is left:
    bleed brakes.
clutch system needs to be connected/bled.
shifter mechanism needs to be rebolted to transmission.
re-adjust my exhaust downpipe and shorten it about 3ft so i can put on a temp muffler.

at this point i should be able to test drive the car.

    additional stufff to do:

shifter itself needs to be properly installed/recessed into tunnel.
install new yonaka samuri seats with rci 5pt harnesses.
mock up removable 3pc engine cover.
    install 2-way paging alarm system.

thats all i can think of at the moment. when i think of more i will post again.

i should be able to drive it tomorow and get some vid for ya guys.

    Re: Project X: RWD Accord

i ran outa hose clamps, so i couldnt finish the coolant system... so its not going for a test run tonight

i will have to get pics of what i accomplished today cuz i probably put in a full 8 hours easy... the fuel cell bracket ate up most of my time because i was trying to find the best way to mount it without getting in the way of coolant lines etc... also had to re-run clutch and fuel lines also.

    todo still:

    bleed clutch.
    bleed brakes.
    modify exhaust some more.
run some wires to start/run the car.
install gtec(tach) and afc(speedo). atleast untill i can solve my cluster problem.
    wheel alignment.

    cosmetic stuff.

so close i can taste it... ran outa hose clamps, then it got dark out. called it a night. hopefully i can get to it tomorow, i want to drive it sooo bad lol.

Awesome, can't wait to see it finished.

Is the issue with the cluster that its cable driven and the new tranny has a electric vss? The tach should still work if you just run the blue wire to the coil negative.
