So they sent you the rears for the rear when what you need is the fronts for the rear? Do I make sense? If not, I'll blame it on being drunk as... Hope the auto spelling on my iPhone helped ne out a bit.

    Re: Project X: RWD Accord

some good news. heard from ksport, they apologized for the screw up and did confirm i was supposed to get front coil overs from a 90-97 accord... they are shipping me a new pair asap.. i'm waiting patiently

i need to get some new pics/vids up soon of the car. alittle has changed.

ps, the radiator wont going to work as the diameter of the in/out lets are wrong size (same size of D/A series). i thought it was a swap rad so i didn't have to gangster clamp my hoses on lol

Glad to hear K-sports customer service has been quite good. Did you purchase directly from them?

sickkk build. just read the whole thing. i'm kinda digging the function over form look, but it would be sweet if you tucked the wires up front. then you could go to shows and say you tucked the engine lol. and next engine cover should be made of plexi and if you could replace the rear hatch glass with plexi then cut out a couple naca ducts for it you could have a sweet intake setup. maybe even a snorkel like the jgtc nsx!

    Re: Project X: RWD Accord

yea.. i'm still working on that.. i really want to put a belly pan under the car to keep all the dirt and crud out.. but i need to plan the venting system for the engine compartment first...

on another note. there was drifting yesterday.. did some 4 car tandem's.. it was epic... just waiting on pics. car handled exceptionally well yesterday compared to previous ddays, the transmission helped, but still doesnt give me the power to power out of corners sideways. so to solve that i've ordered flanges for my t25 turbo..

    i already have:
guages: wb02/ fuel press / oil press / water temp /vac-boost
    dsm 450cc injectors
    msd fuel pump
    areomotive 1:1 rising fpr
wastgate/bov - dunno the make.. came off another project car.
tmic - goes under the car and probably have an electric fan blowing through it

i'm trying to get my hands on a moates demon chip for p06/28 ecu and make some custom piping, then i'm set.

    Re: Project X: RWD Accord

yea i'm going to have to figure something else out for the ventilation for the engine bay.. i hate how dusty/dirty its gotten . i know the fans play a huge role in that sucking all of it through with no filters.

on a side note, i got my proper ksport setup today.. i installed the rears first and went for a quick rip.. i cant believe the difference that made all by itself. i installed the fronts after, but couldn't drive the car as the clutch master cylinder was in the way and had to be removed since it was mounted directly over the strut tower. there is not enough room to have the adjust knob thingy and the clutch master in the same spot.

i knew this was going to come back and bite me in the ass eventually, and theres no quick fix. i have to design/build a new bracket for the clutch master and move it somewhere else. i took pics of the ksports but cant post them till i can figure out why i cant log into my site for uploading.

i will keep you guys updated as i go.
