Either way you will have a ton of room to work with compared to the engine bay of most cars. This car will become a beast with a built motor. It should lay down some decent 1/4 mile times too. I wish I could see it in person.
yes the engine cover will be removable. sealing it wont be a problem, i wont design it complicated. I'm assuming they will just charge me for a 4 wheel alignment like they did after i did my rear disk conversion previously. most cars with rear independent suspension can have toe and somtimes camber adjusted.

there will be 2x rad fans behind the engine aiming towards the ground beside the intake manifold to draw hot air out of the compartment.

Why don't you just run a civic radiator in the back? Will the coolant even be able to flow that far from the front to the back of the car?

He wouldn't get good airflow through the radiator so then the fans would constantly be on. I don't see why the coolant won't flow that far.

i want to keep the engine compartment as small as possible, and i'm moving alot of this stuff to the front of the car for better weight distribution. it worked for daves rwd h22 gsr, so it should work for me.

with the amount of aluminum tubing i'm using, the cooling system will have more places to disipate heat. i'm not expecting the rad fans to come on often. the fans in the engine compartment will be a diferent story as they will be on there own sensor.

I meant if you had placed a radiator in the engine compartment, then you wouldn't get good air flow which would cause the fans to be on all the time.

OH... lol yea. i had toyed with the idea of doing that initially, but this way i have the opportunity of putting small bucket seats in the back out of a b22 or somthing.

That is how people with v8's in things like Toyota's and Samurais run a radiator. I've seen people use exhaust pipe before, but not aluminum. It's coming along faster than I expected!

The wiring shouldn't be that hard

You'll need to bring some wires to the front for the main relay and alternator/brake switch/PGM-FI light.

What will you do for the speedometre?

actually the battery is going to be re-relocated to the front lower passenger side.

pgmfi wire, speedo wires, alternator wires for charge and dash to the front.

ignition (start/acc) wires to the back..

main relay will reside next to the ecu in the back.

    brake switch for what?

I'm thinking I'm going to convert the cluster to electronic or something... or i will just convert to the 4g cluster. i have to modify the fuel guage either way to accommodate the new sensor.
