    Question harness plug

    so in the trunk by passengers tail light there is a plug with 6 wires going to it,it's in the tail light harness.does anyone know what it's for.

    Will look tomarrow at mine and see if I can shed some light on it's purpose. You have any bigger pics of your car? I like the way it's painted. What type of paint did you use on the blue trim?

    Well, I went and looked at my Accord and the only plug I have on either side is plugged into the tail lights. Could be that it is for a Hatchback for the rear wiper. Other than that can't help much.

    thanks the blue paint is the duplicolor metal specks it's expensive though 22.00 dollars a can.

    I was thinking I would paint mine light grey (almost white) above the trim, make the trim red and below satin black. Have to play around with gimp (free like photo shop) to see if I would like it or not.

    i think its for towing lights for a traler hitch or something lol i know i have that plug too

    Pretty sure your right. you say the plugs on the passenger side? i had one on my 88 i thought someone had wired it on though. mine went straight to the wires for the tail lights
