Has anyone changed these on their 3gee? Mine are are cracked and dry rotted. Are they a beast to do? Is there any performance ones? And what will they do for me?

I think it's pretty easy to change if you have decent access to them. I'm not sure if there are performance ones or if it will make a big difference but I know for sure there is a thread about it somewhere.

Does anyone know of other aftermarket ones besides energy suspension. I would like to get ones that will be easy to install. And require no modifying of anything.

Thats about as plug and play as your going to get. You might get the stock parts from the dealer but the price I would guess would be alot more. The end links bushing replacement is about as difficult as jacking the car and removing the tire.
As far as the bushings that go from the sway bar to the frame of the car the regular ES ones that are non-greasable should be fine and very easy to install. It was the greaseable ones that gave me some trouble.

I suppose the greasable one are better. Is that kit on amazon for both sides too?
as for the end-links that's no perfect science. If you take off one side, reassemble it, then take it to something like AutoZone, they usually have a set of end-links for a Ford. As long as the bolt length is the same, and/or the inner diameter of the bushing is the same, they just swap out the busings. For the inners where it mounts to the x-member, I would just order new ones from Majestic.

I bought the greaseable ones because poly usually squeeks bad and I thought it would help. I never hear them squeek but I dont know if its the grease or not. I buy poly because they last more or less forever. Mine had gotten eat up from oil and brake fluid leaks where these should hang tuff for ever.
