    rear seats swappable?

does anyone know if rear seats are swappable among the different models?

i have a DX and the rear seats don't fold down. i'm pretty sure LX and higher models, the rear seats fold down. also, if i take off my rear seat, there is a vertical metal bar right in the center. won't that defeat the purpose of fold down seats if seats are swappable?

    SWAPPING OK!

I just swapped rear (and front) with seats from an Accord Limited. The fold down hardwear etc....fit perfect. No problem taking the center bar out, used a spot weld drill bit. You'll have to get the hinges for the seat off the donor car also, when you put the hinges on, measure carefully!

catzkin?? sells leather kits. i think their site quote about $650 a set, and installed at a catzkin dealer would come out to about $1000

from the Se-i. they came with supple leather, but i doubt u will find one in good condition in thejunk. the cars that end up there are usually maintainted by assholes and ball scratchers who do shit to their cars. Or what u can do is, get a car which has the same seating pattern (bolt and assembly patterns i mean) that would fit our cars. Man........... my eyes are set on those Se-i seats. but one bad deal is that, i doubt the leather seats have a pull out arm rest for the rears.

and greenmachine, he said that the dx rears wont fold down unlike the lx, lxi and the se-i. i have never seen a dx seats in the rear.

On my dx the seats don't fold down. I'm thinking about putting the rear fold down seat from my donor se-i in there. After reading this I feel more confident about doing it.

I'd really like to sawzaw the f-ing roof and put the moonroof from the se-i in there but I don't think it will work. Screw the fold down seat, I want a factory moonroof!

You have a HATCH. The seats are supposed to fold down for extra cargo space.
