    new wheels

well at least two of them, have to locate two more, these are from a 94 geo prism, they just need some minor work to make the center hole bigger, and some paint, and of course to get rid of the geo logo in the middle. it's painted on not cast. i need to take maby a 32nd out of the center, going to machine it off, but it could be done with a flap wheel and die grinder if needed.

Those will look pretty good on your car. I've been eying a set of Kia wheels for my car for a while.

    Re: new wheels

i'm thinking of having monkey make decals like the original accord script and using that for a paint mask on the centers when i paint them . they would look almost factory yet they really aren't

They look alright as is but, i think they would look better if you didnt use the center cap. As for painting them thats your choice. They look nice now and gun metal might also look good, but how about painting they "eyes" black. You know black out the centers in between each spoke. Just an idea
No more 3G but that doesn't mean i cant look at yours...

    Re: new wheels

I'd like them with gold inner spokes. To each his own.

On your car, though, the gold spokes would look like poo.

I think they look good...a little different, but they will show off a lot better than stock! Why not run them without center caps, and use anodized lugs from like Mackin Industries...?

    Re: new wheels

does anyone know if the rear hub wheel bearing can be removed? i need to make an adaptor to machine out those center holes, and i need to get the bearing out of an old rear hub. have to chuck up the entire rim in the lathe so i can take around a 32nd out of each center hole.

    Re: new wheels

oh i did finally get the bearing out, well sort of. the center part of the bearing cannot be removed. ball bearings and bearing centers can,but not the race the ball bearings roll in. it was a son of a bitch machining that bearing part to get this heavy tube through it. oh i think i'm going flat black on the wheels with graphite cutouts
