    Exclamation Need some help!

K i got my new motor in and running but the temp gauge on the instrument panel is not working and the fans on the radiator are not coming on like they should, also im not sure which hose goes were from the heater core to pipe and intake manifold to pipe, does the intake go to the pump or to the pipe? The heater core would go to the other.

the switch for the fans is at the bottom of the radiator, unplug it turn on the key and jumper the two wires,if the fans come on it's the sensor. the temp gauge uses a small sensor at the back side of the intake manifold, it has one wire going to it,see if you knocked off the wire putting in the engine.

Since you up pretty high your fans might come on. Mine never ever do unless I go driving in the mountains at elevations over 2500'. The normal idling with the hood up I can't see them ever coming on unless the base temps like over 100F outside.

If you have AC buttons you can use them, button then fan on, to make both fans come on manually also. Even with the 10 amp AC fuse pulled that fans come on in my car even if the compressor does not.

Can someone tell me what color wire goes to the temperature switch on the back of the intake and what is the sensor \ switch on the motor by the oil filter?
