Weber Questions

i am gonna get a weber kit from nopi.com

1. when i buy the kit will i have to make any changes to the linkages? i have a 5 speed.
2. does this carb have the shitty fast idle too?
3. and for vacume lines... what do i do with the box? i dont want it and if i only need two vacume lines, do i need the box?
4. how much poer will i develop approx with the weber conversion?

Let me try to answer some of your questions:

1. If you buy the kit and already have a 5-speed you will be alright. It would be a little harder if you had an automatic but both can be installed with a weber, the 5 speed is a little more easier because you only deal with the throttle cable.

2. No. My fast idle, when it is cold can range from 1,000- 2,500rpm. Depends on the weather.

3. Get rid of all the vacuum line, except the vacuum line coming farthest from the distributor and the brake booster line. Remove the mysterious black box. and vacuum cap everything else.

4. Can't say, but you will definitely feel more power, especially @ around 3000 rpm and higher.
