Yeah, there's a handful of OR members left around here, or at least people that are close.

Zufer, bobafett, myself....that actually might be it lol. 2ndgenguy has come down a couple times, there's a couple others, too.

Justin and Matt aren't around much, haven't seen nospeed in a while, Chris (crwa) was driving a Ranger last time we saw him. Oh oh, chris (hatchback_racer) and mark have toyotas--chris has a corolla and mark has an mr2 (with a 2way, jeeeeesus). See them at most of the drift events.

We used to have one of the more active areas, but most everyone has sort of moved on now.

Yeah there are definitely a few of us around still. We can probably organize a good summer meet I think. I would love to do a Pat's Acres meet so we can all go-kart and stay entertained instead of just sort of...... hanging out...... which can get boring and awkward depending on who knows who... lmao...

For the last meet I brought my charcoal bbq down and we met a few new people for the first time, but I think there was a total of 7 members throughout the whole day. Then we tried to go to the drag strip but it started raining.

but I will kart at sykart if it is more convenient for most people. i don't really care where, as long as it is fun. (which is always is).

The one in Tigard is Malibu Gran Prix I think. No wheel to wheel racing there AFAIK.

Yeah, Malibu is 7/8 scale open wheel cars. I've never been there myself.

Sykart opened somewhat recently. We have a northwestnissans crew that goes out every thursday night

    Re: portland area

eh before i started modding mine it got 40-44mpg, after mods i got a solid 37mpg even with cam and everything.

After pulling vac lines I got 35mpg....

Thats better than 95% of cars on the road today, so I would say driving a 3g is a good idea not a bad one. :-) especially since my current car gets only 17mpg city .

It pisses me off so bad when new cars with 'amazing fuel economy' only get 29mpg freeway

I vote for Pat's acres! 50 MPH karts are the only way to go. And hey I'm still around, I just don't visit this board that often since I have a K5 and Nova now.
I may only get 13-18 MPG, but try and follow me in the mud and you'll get stuck.
