    i heard that the b20 head will fit the a20.. true?

    good god man. Sorry to flame, but Jesus Christ on a piece of toast learn to read. Five minutes in the performance section or with the search button could have gotten you the answer.

    will do gentlemen.. thanks for the input

    well i guess ill change the thread up a bit.. my efi 87 is running really rough at idle.. idles around 800 then gradually dropps to 500-400 and blows black smoke then shoots up to 800 and smoke stops... does this repeatedly.. any ideas why?

    sounds kinda like a distrubutor problem? my moms minivan would idle like that and kinda backfire, it would go rich and crap (black smoke). it was the distributor.

    hmm.. i changed the cap,rotor,wires,plugs and she still does it.. would it be a sensor? thats all i can think of as the rest of the dist. is just the vac advance and the shaft coming from the cam turning the rotor

    correct.. the oil lines dont line up and something about the headbolts not lining up

    does the check engine light come one?? check your ecu for codes... maybe o2 sensors? injectors?

    do a fuel filter,air filter,plugs and set the timing etc and see what happens
    always worht doin a basic tune as part of a poor running fault.
    and check the idle air control valve and see if she workin right

    yeah im getting 6 flashes from the ecu.. someone told me that its a temp sensor or something in that area of coolant sensing

    i did the air filter and plugs.. but i do have to swap the fuel filter and get it timed.. im thinking its off a lil.. and when i punch it off the line.. she hesitates then hauls ass
