saw a really good post about the big three,actually a how to,went to upload pics and it vanished into thin air. i had bookmarked it too and it's gone from my bookmarks. i hope the server didn't erase whoever did it. this is scary it's wiping out members. everything bassman ever did is vanished into thin air now.

ok wierd, the post that disappeared earlier now shows up in my thread subscriptions. i guess bassmans threads are there but his info is gone earlier it showed no posts for him .

something aint right, it is doing the server ip (64. something)thing again in the lower browser bar, when it does that to me on this computer i know it isnt going to load. All other net stuff works so it is the site.

I ran a few diagnostic and repair tools on Vbulletin. There were a few in some tables which have been fixed. I'm not sure if that contributed to any of these issues some of you have been having or not.

I had been getting this message for what seems at least a week now, this is the first time i have actually been able to get on to the forum.

something screwy going on, I keep getting database error messages when I post, and I had a post( 45 minutes old) that showed up on the thread but not on the thread menu.

This seems to be a problem with my ISP(Charter Communications). I am accessing the forum now at home through a proxy because when i access it through a normal link it gives me the forbidden message.

After doing some searching it seems to be a security error.

This thread has gone on long enough. And this forum is not meant to be a running blog where people post every time the server hangs up for a few seconds longer than they'd like, or if the site goes down for a few minutes, or if a random database error pops up.

We moved servers, things have been running better. But servers will still go down, and computers will act up. There's only so much we can do. Human beings have survived for 200,000 years so far, and I don't think a random server glitch will put our world in jeopardy.
