    Black Eye

Ok.. So today while waiting for a parking spot at the local gas-n-go this morning before going to work. Some dushbag backs his big ass work truck into my car. Now its not like he didnt know that I was there. I motion to him as he is getting into his bucket truck that I want his parking spot. He gives me a wave and a smile gets in and backs right into me. When he relizes he hit me. The cock looks me right in the eye and burns out, almost hitting a cop as he leaves. To make matters worse the cop didnt do a damn thing, and took my parking spot. What a great fucking way start to my day off.

    Re: Black Eye

Im going to the JY in the am to see if I can get the parts to fix it. If not I may take you up on the offer Dark_Accord.

I made a report with the officer that took the spot from me. "I earned that damn spot".

My ? is. What am I looking at to fix the damage? My trusty Hanes book dont say crap on the subject. It tells me how to replace the light, but nothing more than that.

Damn man that sucks, dumb cop. It shouldn't run that much to fix it as long as you do it yourself.

    Re: Black Eye

    should be easy
u remove that plastic trim around the headlight and the eyelid (plastic peace that matchs the grill and marker lights) then there is 4 scerws holding the headlight cover on and 2 scerws holding the marker light on

    Re: Black Eye

Well I got a few of the parts needed to fix the damage yesterday. I didnt find the head light cover in my color or a corner light cover at pick-n-pull. There are a few more JYs around here that I can hit up. I hope I can find what Im after.
As you can see I have a few more bent parts than I wanted to have. Not that I wanted them in the first place. LOL! Some of the brackets are bent and/or pushed over about a half inch. The arm from the motor to the light is bent pretty good. As well as the frame the head light mounts to.
I got most of it pushed and bent back into shape as good as can be for now, and hammered the head light cover back into shpae (some what). It wasnt hard at all, so Im just going to replace the whole assembly.
Here are a few more pics.

Sucks, but at least the ass hit stuff that was cheap and easy to fix.

I have a pair of stock corners that are getting dusty ever since I switched to JDMs. You can have them if you want them, if you do just PM me your shipping addy.
