New to the forum, bought a 1987 Accord LX, it has been sitting for a couple years. I changed the oil, and fuel, and put a new battery in it. It will start, but just as soon as the motor starts to idle, it dies out. All the electrical components work, just need any ideas
try changing the fuel filter.
Remeber boys and girls Coupes rule, Hatchies drule, and 4 doors are for mothers..........
You're going to be digging into your carb controls. Since it's sat for a while, I'd start with checking all of those vacuum lines.
Welcome and check over the carburetor. I would reccomend a haynes manual if your aren't familiar with carburetion.
