1988 Honda Accord LX-i Coupe 123k miles.
shit looks tight!
one day I'll return.
i like it.
odd how the US insists on bringing the Accord here as a TSX, which they don't offer in a wagon (avant, w/e u wanna call it), but we have our own entirely unique 'Accord' for the states. They been doing this for 4+ years now, and I'm still confused about it all.

Oh man! I want an Accord Wagon Diesel!!! That's badass! Is that the i-CDTi or the i-DTEC?
Also like Mark said, why DO we have this huge monstrous Accord nowadays? Must be to compete with the huge monstrous Camry. Honda needs to just do it's own thing.
we have it because the american market has been tailored more toward comfort and room in the past 10-15 years. maybe that's because of the scarcity of anything in between the 'econoboxes' (ie. omni, rabbit, civic, corolla, subaru anything, 'nova' nugget, fiesta, etc) and the 'land yacht' (ie. dodge diplomat, olds 98, buick roadmaster, caprice, grand marquis, etc.).
Although there were plenty of releases said to be in that in between class (3G [duh], Camry, Skylark, Cutlass, etc), they (with the exception of the 3G) were not as common as the two extremes (listed above). Chalk it up to everyone saying "hell no i don't want another sardine can, this time around i want much more room, but I don't want to drive a barge either".
So now that we've all got that yearn for more elbow room, when Honda slimmed down the Accord (aka.TSX) for tax reasons b/c Japan taxes their cars based on width (you can take that reason to the bank. it's gotta be true, b/c I read it on the internet. haha.) the US division decided to 'lux it up' and sell it as a TSX, and release a much wider (than the TSX) Accord to suit us burger & fries eaters.

thanks for the clarification forrest. I stand corrected.
I do like ours, but huge thumbs up to the wagon. We need more wagons and hatches in the US and less SUV's.

The wagon rear end look kinda like Aerodeck.
damn, look at them hondas! would be enticing if the price of diesel wasn't a small fortune.
