its 19, i had to buy a DC powered impact wrench to get it off
you will need an extension to get to it
best way to do it is to have somebody hold the wheel for you...and dont forget to make sure your wheels are straight before you tighten it back on :-p
I never had a problem getting the nut off. Are you all sure it is not 18mm?
I cant remember for sure but I wanted to mention something I have noticed across the board with a LOT of cars. Things related to steering exclusivley have 18mm fasteners where you will seldom ever use 18mm on anything else.
the nut is 19mm ,i just use the wheel wrench that comes with the car works great.
yeah i used a wheel brace too, lol
Another vote for 19mm.
I removed one at the j/y with an open end wrench?

Remeber boys and girls Coupes rule, Hatchies drule, and 4 doors are for mothers..........
19mm for sure. I had to take mine off like 3 times. Get some white out and mark the steering wheel with the column so you can line it back up.
