Re: MY 88 HB ON VITAMIN B20-> make offer

    Update !!

Thanks for all the interest from everyone, here is the skinny.

My wife says the auto tranny trade is a good idea, if I put the AC back in, so scratch that for now at least.

The Chassis is straight with no filler whatsoever so contrary to mis-information, the chassis is worth something also. Spring over suspension. Lude front clip with directional signal also double as CHP style strobes red and blue 900x2 strobes per minute(Pull it over) I used them to see how fast that beverly hills prick could get his solo riding ass out of the car pool lane.
Has 91 Accord cloth seats in it, but I am throwing in 2 96 civic leather ones. Behind the seats is a steel mesh divider 1 inch x 1/8 inch wall square tubing frame. If the price is right, I will also throw in a f22a1 motor that I am not sure of it's internal condition, but I could check it out. I also have a 1992 4.0 liter motor out of a Ford Ranger complete with the entire wiring harness (not one wire cut) computer, dash, all instruments, steering column, both doors with hardware and glass, with 5 speed tranny. Make offer, if you know any ford drivers, thanks ahead of time.

Reason I am giving up on these projects.........I am 50 years old and have 2 new babies and a new woman. My ex-whore has taking everything else in a divorce. But hey, maybe in a couple of years I will start another project, you know, when I am sure no whore will take it away or at least half of it..you young dudes need to think prenup agreement no matter what they say...Wow there is some personal crap thrown out there. Anyway, when the shit gets deep, I get on this site and just start reading....Some of you guys say the craziest crap and by far are the most informative even when the subject is not a car.... Be tough in your business dealings...I expect no less and no sympathy waaaaah, I could throw a price out there, but my expectations at this time would far exceed the wants and abilities of most. I gotta split, I am listening to kids screaming in stereo. Would like to sell the whole car re: less friction on wheels than a pallet. If anyone has a P2K ecu that they would like to let me use for a week, I sure would like to drive this thing once with the right ecu. this 96 acura ecu gas map sucks ass. I would buy one, but I can never seem to get past the baby items section of ebay lately. Kids are the cooliest things, I suggest everyone have at least 2, but start early so that you can still drive your Honda's, when they get to the age when they think they can outdrive you!!

Wow messy H is buying it....

accordaroundmyneck, I knew you were going personal when you started pawning out your collection of parts to go with it... )
If you have things before you get married, it is not fair for the parting spouse to get it. Marriage is a lot of work sometimes, good advice is to know your prospect many seasons before you sign the dotted line. Quck and to the point ^^^ deserving of another thread on the topic.

i wasnt trying to diss you the other day on the fact that its just the motor sale thing
but for the car the way it sits
$2500 is a bit much specially with the economy the way it is right now
the only people that would pay that much for a car like this is someone who loves them as much as we do
but were all broke asses lol
even 1500 is a bit much
ive never payed more then 500 for a 3g
and apperance wise they looked loads better
once again not dissing your car
for 2500 someone can go get a civik with a swap easy

Re: MY 88 HB ON VITAMIN B20

Didn't think you were at all.... I didn't want to post a price, but noone would give me an offer, so I pm'd some mods here, at hondaswap, and and preludepower, and call at least 20 JDM dealers from Cal to Canada and 1 in Australia and 1 in New Zealand... $2500.00 to $3000.00 so thats what I posted, and thanks for giving me feedback. I posted it for $3000.00 in the Trading Post so I wouldn't disrespect anyone I spoke to by not taking their advice after they took the time to get back to me.

MAYBE I SHOULD SELL RAFFLE TICKETS....That way those who really want or need all or part of the car, won't be hating me and could buy as many as they could afford too. 3Geezzzzzzz no wonder I have so much stuff, I hate going through the for sale stuff. I am a great buyer when I can afford it, so I hope someone can make me a good seller

Yeah $2500 is a great price! A stock 3 gee in good condition is worth more than $1500 in Kelly Blue Book. A swapped 3 gee should get at least $2500

$2500 is a good price. Try to find a clean 3g Accord for even $1500. There aren't many out there right now, people are snatching them up. Maybe a few months ago you could pick up a decent one for $1000, but not now. I just spent Saturday with my friend trying to find a nice 3g Accord and there are NONE up here. Actually now that I think about it, he might pay $2500 for one with a B20A in it. Are there more pictures of the car itself somewhere? It would take some serious convincing to get him to pick one up in Southern Cali though. The HondaSwap page is down too.

motor or no motor the only people that are gona care it has a b20 would be the 3geez community bottom line

    A RATTLE CANNED HATCH ??
Now you realize that I am not fully aware of your educational background, but a calculated guess based on observation alone would tend to sway towards you don't know Jack.
This Hatch is tighter than my little sister....probably some others also.
Don't be a hater. Hater's tend to write checks with their lips that their ass can't cash. Damn I must be a little on the edge from infant stereo.

Ok guys, let's all take a deep breath, and not get so defensive here.

AccordAroundMyNeck --> Let's post up some of those pics, and make this thread more about your car. I don't mind you mentioning it's for sale, but let's make the thread about your car rather then solely about selling it. Also, same as below, let's not make anything personal, nor take it personal.

ghettogeddy --> The value of his car is a matter of opinion. You have yours, he has his, and everyone else that's chimed in so far has theirs. By all means, critique the car, make criticisms, but let's not make anything personal.

well in the first place my price was for a fast sell he needs a new car with auto and ac

i belive the car would sit around forever with a high range price of 2500-3k
now if thats what he wants it to do so he dosent have to sell it by all means but if you are in desperite need of the money sometimes you have to take the low ball road

but as far as a real price goes b20s go for
    about 1200
and a decent roller goes for about 500
so 1700 would be a lil more within reach

so sorry if my opinion was a lil more down to earth with the economy the way it is and all
