Yes you're right. We still gotta get the timing right and work out a few quirks here and there. But man it definately has some horsepower. I think it might be the goldtop cams you have in it

I went to 3 alignment shops in town today to get it aligned and the car was too low for the ramps. Anyone have two 1.5 inch lowering springs they want to sell or trade?

There is a place up here in loveland that can do lowered cars. just have to get a minimum of 1in ground clearance. They drive over a pit instead of putting you on a rack. I don't know if you want to make the drive though.. lol, it's a bit of a drive for sure.

Yep. Thats what one shop told me. They use beams do the the alignment and the bumpers would block the beams ability to align the car. So yeah you are right on it

That's what I'd do too. If you put the 1.5" springs in just for the alignment, your camber will still be off once you drop it back down.

pulling the kit will probably be less time-consuming too.

    Re: Finally...Finally...Finally!!!!

So I went to the alignment shop today to get the car aligned and I found out that I had a bent rear lower control arm. Freaking tow-truck drivers! This is also causing some major rear camber issues as well. Oh well anyone have a rear driver's side lower control arm for sale?

Yes it does. My back tire is so crooked I can see it with my naked eye....Wish I would have known about the damage earlier. I would've made the tow company pay for it

Ok I gave her a mini tune-up today. Wohdog's old spark plugs needed to be changed out. I replaced them with some NGK G- power platinum plugs. The best thing about these plugs is that they don't need to be gapped. Just pop the old ones out and put the new ones in. Here is another vid after I installed them

sounds wwaayyy better. i wanna see an in car vid of you taking it for a blat now.

did you check the cam timing and replace the belt?i cant remember how much time i took putting that belt on. you should run a PH3 ECU so you only need one oxy sensor. i have a 88-89 manual ph3 ecu if u want it for a small fee

aand whats the cooling system like... it doesn't overheat or anything?

Nope we didn't check the cam timing yet. We played with the distributor timing though and it seems to be at a good spot. There was vacum cap plug that needed to be replaced as far as the cooling system is concerned but that was a very easy fix. How many km's does this engine have? It seems to have low miles. Let me know how much you want for the ecu I might get it

for you like $30buck since its a blacktop one. its probably off your engine even i have a few lying about

its actually done around 210,000kms. was a mint engine tho. bought the complete car for snoopy from a couple of guys for $400 (the car that had my digi dash) they used it as a paddock basher aparently. found out later thwe gearbox was fucked when i blew mine and used it as my replacement and it blew aswell.. fail. but i got snoopy another box now so its all good. Cant rememeber if that engine ran coolant or plain water but it didnt have shitty oil in it and it allways idled smooth and pulled hard when i took it out on the road

FACT: out of all the B20A engines i have had... 70% of the gold tops were automatic, and 100% of the blacktops were manual. i have no auto blacktop b20s! lol
