    Long Time

Okay I have a chance to buy a 89 LXi Hatch 5 spd with only 135K and it needs a driver side half shaft, door locks and exhaust piping behind the cat to the muffler, the only rust spot is below the gas door, other than that the car is sound. I know it is hard to find these cars especially at this price and condition of the car. Where do you think i can find a half shaft and how much do you think it would cost to get it replaced? Or if I did it myself, what would the level of skill needed for that part? Thanks for all your help.

the axel is easy to get as long as the nut is not rusted on...some people have to use impact tools to get it off.
