    Exclamation Luuuube

Me and my dad were gonna lube my car, but he couldnt find the "lube points" or whatever. Do some cars not need to be lubed? My manual doesnt say anything about it.

    Im scared

If I'm not mistaken, our cars have "permanently greased" joints and whatnot, and do not require grease jobs.

our cars don't require lubing ! but you can always check all the boots of the suspension ( CV , ball joints , rack )

There are no "Zerk" (grease) fittings on the ball joints or steering linkages. All you can do is check the integrity of the CV boots and grease seals.

They last a really long time. On the old cars with grease fittings these parts would last a lifetime as long as you kept them filled with grease. My old Pontiac had 11 grease fittings to fill every time I changed the oil. Rack and pinion equipped cars only had about six grease fittings, but in our case there are NONE.

There is no way to "grease the boots." I thought putting silicone on the boots at every oil change would make them last longer and all that happened was they started splitting when the car had 93,000 miles. The second set is still good at 199,000 and I have done nothing to them. Just leave them alone and check them at every oil change for cracks.
