i got mine from autozone for $117 with lifetime replacement. It took me 2 days, i wasn't rushing anywhere.
For a little more you can get a stage 1.
did you check the clutch cable? sounds like it broke to me

If you can, DO NOT buy a clutch rebuild kit (new disc, and pressure plate) from Autozone. Granted, I like Autozone because they are local, always open, and have parts, but I would not go there for a clutch kit. I'm told that Autozone has remanufactured clutches, and that's not a good thing. They might be warped or have even a slight imperfection. I only would say this because I had a friend who went cheap and bought a kit from A.Zone. He's having problems now, like the fact that the clutch will "hit and miss" when engaging it.
When I did my rebuild, I went to Car Quest, which is was a little more expensive than A.Zone. However, I'm not having problems with my clutch. I'd ask the place where you buy it first, and then decide if you want to buy a remanufactured one.
(if anyone thinks my buddy is full of $hit, that's ok, I think so too. But it does make sense. Why would you want a remanufactured clutch?)
just bought a stage 2

Here.
Yes, check out clutch cable, They usally just slip like a automatic and stink real bad when doing so.(dieing). Autozone is the only place around that will sell only the clutch disc itself if you want it that way. I have a couple of pressure plates that look good. And they are indeed remaned. Cause they want the old one back. But i'll try the zone 1st just to see. I'm a gambler with repairs anyway.

Ah, the Centerforce. I've heard both good and bad things about it. Several people here have used them, so they may be able to give you some extra insight.
I picked up the kevlar Unorthodox Racing one. The clutch disc is unsprung, so it's gonna bite like mad

ok- here is the diagnosis... the clutch itself is completely out. had to have it replaced.; parts were like 233 or so.. labor.. 495. whoa. yah, anyway. too much! but it runs great now.
i had a centerforce......lotta problems with it....if u treat it nicely...it will last a while...if u even dump the clutch or be hard on it even only a few times....the springs go in the disc and it rattles like a bitch....plus its hard to get into gears....i went with a 4 puck unsprung with the centerforce pressure plate....havent had a prob since.....only that this clutch was used already and now its dead too....
There are 3 things that are most important in life....eating, sleeping, and racing.
centerforce aside...
