Well there's not really a story in that thread though. It shows the early boards, but maybe there's not much to it. I guess it would just be interesting to know some of the motivation behind it if there's anything else interesting besides just some forums just popped up one day.
You can understand some of it if you join the foundation.
There are some really old threads in the FT, and really if you read some of those that Carotman linked you can get some of it too.
