    Question Mileage

    Hey guys I am new here adn this is my first thread, so if its messed up, lemme know, but i was just wondering, how many miles are on your guys 3"s?? I am running wiht 142,200 and my transmission went out last week, not to worrie i bought a used one and it will be here on wendesday, but other than that the car is a piece, and i will never drive anything but a honda

    aw shucks, that ain't nothin. i'm up to 281 650 and i'm still goin. of kose, i have a new radiator and muffler cuz the idiot of a former owner didn't even do the proper maintenance on the car. the whole muffler fell off while i was driving to work!! stupid guy. and mines only an LX. ur's is an LX-I. it should still be good. the car's shape depends a lot on the maintenance and work put into it. if it had a crappy former owner, like mine did, expect a lot of repairs and part replacements. but with enuff work, it'll be a good ride till death do us part.

    Man thats cool, ive only had this car for 4 months and i am just starting to work on it, so far i ahve put a new manifold back exhaust with a beasty ass muffler, did a little bit of interior painting and i got some rims and tires. I have just got done with my sound system so i can finally start saving for some performance stuff. All I know is that my Lxi is a beasty ass four banger, and i love the pull it creates at 4grand.

    wees87lx from the old board had 20,000mi on his when he bought it a couple of years ago...he sold it and went other places...

    I got 311,000mi on my 87LXi, and rev it all day. No smoke, and it is getting YK86's cam in a couple of weeks. Just use good oil, and common sense, and it should last a long time.

    It turned 300k on the 12th. I just drove out to the Ohio meet this last weekend though, so that was a good 800 miles or so right there. They add up quick!

    174,000 mi. Here's a history of repairs (starting with the most recent)

    'Blew' the engine earlier this year in April. Was in 3rd gear @ 5000 RPMs when the coolant hoses decided to rupture. The car stalled, I thought cracked the head. After a tow to the dealership the car started up fine. The coolant hoses were overdue for a change was the only problem.

    Original A/C unit broken, retrofitted to a 134A.

    Front axle has been replaced twice. First time was a non-honda so it broke again after 30k mi. Second replacement was a honda genuine rebuilt (still on the car).

    Still running on the factory clutch.

    I've got almost 139k... bought it about 5 months ago at 133k miles.

    Only major repair so far is a brake job on the fronts, but I have to take it in in the next week to get the driver's side CV joint replaced and the carb fixed... I really hope they don't set me back more than $300

    34K miles? wow.. my car has 186K miles my friends tell me the cars about to die any second now (lol) but i see people with 300K+ miles??!? im not so worried about making mods to my accord now haha

    216,056[3], the Cluster is right infront of my monitor!

    Not Much repairs realy...
    Replaced the Alt. about 3 times, Never replaced the clutch, Replaced Spart Wires and Spark Plugs. @ 216016 miles the car started up and the Thermostat never opened when it should have so at about 216036 miles the engine blew. 216056 miles the car began its borring sleep in my driveway until I can get her a new head and thermostat along with a total engine flush and new fluids. I became the owner of the car at 215000 miles and my brother was the one driving the car when it blew the engine.
