    Question EGR Vavle? Remove or block

    Is there a way i can block this piece of crap without the light coming on its really ingoning me. Im going to put my turbo on anyways but idk bout the light coming on? whos done it

    you could just block it but leave the valve plugged in i think.

    umm. ill try it just i seen alot of guys on here put a plate and thats it. but its still connected idk ill try it i guess

    just make sure you seal off between the two ports under the valve, they cannot vent into each other or it is like full on egr whick is a vaccuum leak at idle. disconnecting the valve usually accomplishes that unless the valve is not closing.

    I just cut the pipe on mine and plugged it.

    I am thinking about milling the whole egr channel off my manifold. What do yaw think ? It seems to be mostly on the outer edge and feeds from the back side of the vaccum tree (carbed intake)

    There was a guy just maybe 6-8 months ago who did that and posted some pics... He shaved everything off the intake manifold and welded up the holes... looked amazing. Can't find the pics though.

    mines throws a egr code so i just unplug the 16 hose and just leave it there...

    So when unpluged it did it stop thowing that Engine light

    No it was right here on 3geez. I think it was an old member who came back, but he disappeared after showing that thing off. I'm surprised you didn't see it, it was rad. Wish I could find it.

    id only remove it on a carb car it effected my mpg badly when mine went out on my legend
