    Tokicos officially installed

Pics up ASAP of the process, it only took 3 hours lol. The ride is incredible, I'm very happy and satisfied.

Now though, I really hate the way the car sits. Its perfectly level which means the front has tons of wheel gap(3 fingers of space) and the back doesn't at all(1.5 fingers of space). I need an actual working description of the pinch fork mod if anyone has pics for me

And on another good note, my exhaust is getting made next week.

    PICS on pg. 2!

    Re: Tokicos officially installed

that's odd, my hatch has a noticable forward slant/dive, with no finger space up front and about 2 1/2 fingers in the rear (with sprint springs on all 4 koni's)

Really? Mine is the exact opposite. It looks almost dumped in the back lol. It really looks kind of odd. idk what the deal with that is. Ill have pics soon.

    Re: Tokicos officially installed

I have Tokicos and H&R's on an 89 Sedan.

It seems to sag in the rear compared to the front totally dependant upon the level of the surface and whatever you have in the rear.

Otherwise it does seem to level out if you don't have hardly any weight in the rear. Bad for guys with large audio systems though.

    Re: Tokicos officially installed

Whats weird is, when I had my gr-2s on it was lower in the front. A lot lower. I had like almost no wheel gap up there, it was all in the back

Anybody ever use the Intrax set? Link
I was thinking about getting a set, but i havent seen anyone with them or even talk about em. Its not a big drop, so maybe thats why. Ya'll think GR-2's would be reliable with a 1.7/1.6 drop?

Cool. You got them done in pretty good time too.The tokicos are definately worth the price. Im running them on my sprints and they handle pretty well. Yeah my hatch is way lower in the back compared to the front also

    Re: Tokicos officially installed

a lot of spring sets make the front look higher simply because the wheel wells in the front have more gap naturally

luckily my sportlines seem to have taken the wheel gap into account cause the car sits slightly tilted slightly forward

    Re: Tokicos officially installed

Ccord, my GR-2s even handled my drop well for about a week(they were years and years old) I could imagine how well they'd do with a slight drop and brand new. I'd say go for it if you aren't opting to get a set of Tokicos. I can't even tell you how much I love those things though.

You have the same problem too Bullard? I might just cut one ring off my front springs to fill the gap until I can get GC's. I have the same setup as you, and it handles/rides like a dream.

    Re: Tokicos officially installed

be careful cutting springs. look into the cut fork mod if u can't handle the gap

also realize the shocks will settle so don't go crazy just yet

I like the way your car sits geddy, I'd just want the back lower for me. If the front of mine was like that I'd be more than happy
