    Question se-i disk break conversion on 1986 dx

    can i get a list of everything i need to do this

    The complete rear knuckle assembly off a SEi and E-brake cable also the proportioning valve

    You don't HAVE to have the proportioning valve, but its recommended.

    i appericiate all this information. does any one have pics of the parts and could i get all the parts from a parts store or do i need to goto a salvage yard

    Lxi prop valve here too no problems.

    he should probably invest in the prop. valve since he's not rocking an lx-i, he's rolling a dx.

    If you don't get the SE-i propo valve, there won't be any problem. It's just that the brake balance might be off a bit.

    x2 on the prop valve

    Everyone that I've talked to says it doesn't really affect it much.

    Running a non SE-i valve won't harm anything. However, if you do not upgrade your front brakes you will need to learn how to control the car under hard braking. This is especially when it rains. The rear end will lock up and you will go into a slide, if you brake hard that is.
