Is the switch getting power(aka lighting up)? If it is and the cruise will simply not engage, check down by your pedal assembly for little push-button sensors that hit your pedals as they are depressed. They have tiny rubber stoppers on them that fall out and make a hole so the cruise will not engage because the little sensor has nothing to hit. A simple nut and bolt can fix the problem. I had this exact issue and it was easily resolved, hopefully you figure it out because I know I love my cc!
