    lol

    Pretty nice.

I did something similar back in like 1993 when I first got my hatch. Except all I did was get some of that chrome roll tape and cut out the letters exactly so that the word Honda was chrome instead of painted like yours.

Looks good though. It kinda reminds me of the earlly 90'2 toyotas. Most of them had painte mudflaps.

that actually looks pretty dam sweet I think you could only pull that off with that fire red color though, and still look as good as that.
I love the painted moulding look too, but that only looks good on certain colors as well IMO

    Thanks guys

To tell the truth I'm not entirely sure I made the right decision with painting everything red, trim, bumpers and so on. Don't get me wrong, I think it looks good too, but I keep thinking that it might have looked better with leaving the stuff black.

i recon if you repaint the black trims and shit it gives your car a more cleaner look than painting over them.
My cars rear mudflaps are oem painted grey but not all of it. i like the white honda on them tho they make it stand out great.. contrast (what i was talking about leaving the black side mouldings black when u paint a ca)

    Re: Pimp my mudflaps!

that is what I have 15" 35 and they rub with 205 tires, I dont care, the looks make up for it. There are ways to fix the occasional rubbing.

This is funny, yesterday afternoon I saw a Toyota Camry, the style that kinda looks like our Accords from behind. It had that rusty orange brown color, the mudflaps were painted body color OEM and had the Toyota letters in white. Looked pretty good, it came factory that way I assume.

    Re: Pimp my mudflaps!

I think my tires are only 195's and it's not lowered, so no rubbing

As for the toyotas, I've got a '91 corolla stw and it has the toyota text painted on the rear flaps. The flaps are just black tho, not body colored.

was there a special mudflap for the hatches in the back? mine don't fit right, the letters can be done easy with one of those tire letter paint pens.

Hmmm my guess is that the 86-87 sedan bumpers would use the same mudflaps. Are they really that different?

yea the entire rear bumper is different, the plastic part and the metal part both. they have a different shape. I found out you can't put a metal inner bumper on a hatchback unless it's off of a hatchback. i always wondered if aerodeck rear mudflaps would fit a hatchback.
