Rare 3g?

Was bored and checked a Swedish site for used cars just for kicks and found this.

'86 Accord EXR, now what is it? First I thought it was a JDM/USDM import because of the flip lights, and as far as I know Europe didn't get those other than on aerodecks. Japan kinda got ruled out when I saw it was LHD. And I don't think US had anything badged as EXR.

So what is it? In the info it sais it's sold in sweden...

Another thing to note, it's only got a bit over 50k miles on it! The asking price however is around 3,000 converted to USD.

I seen this one to, this thing is clean.. There was a EXR model, it was sold in japan, but it get to the eu marked as well, but they were overpriced so no one bout them. now they are a collection item. I have called the guy, he said that he dont want to sell it for less. The car is rare! I was wonting that thing, but the stupid norwegian government want like almost doble the price of this car to register it here, tax, in about 6000$

Man I love that car, I wonder what engine is in it? It looks like my DX until I see the dark corners, digi dash, sunroof, badging, deluxe interior.. sweet car I would give 3K US $ for it with that low mileage and if it was tight as it looks.

hrmm, cd player? looks like an aftermarket radio.. this could be some kind of car somebody put together, anyone have an EDM brochure? That badge looks like one piece, that is really the most yeti item.

cool. The antenna is on the back quarter like the 4g instead of the roof, like the 3g. black bumpers, sun roof, fog lights , its different thats for sure.

there was the EX-R in canada, but its was basicly an LX-i. but this looks different with black bumpers, digi dash and the different console inset which i cant tell what it quite is. i'm guessing its what the LX-i was with the fuel injected engine, but with european features. but is lacking the power folding mirrors. those fogs are aftermarket arent they? not quite like the Honda ones. i'd go for this one.

Like I said I talked to the guy at the dealership, Its A-powered EFI in it. I have considered to buy it, but taxes here eating me alive

Notice the Digi dash displays in english and not in Japanese. The engine is an A20A2 and it's carbed (no CEL in the dash)

The redline is @ 6250 just like the A20A cars instead of the 6500 for the B20A.

These seem to be rare indeed. It even has heated seats

The thing in the console is an Electronic Navigator indeed (check #3 in the previous link)

My first thought was that it was carbed too, mostly because of the lonely tail pipe and there's no "i" in the badge

But are heated seats rare? Almost every car around here got those.

On the other hand A/C is pretty rare on older cars over here while it seems like it's pretty common over in the states.

my guess is the dash doesnt have the fuel usage calculator as theres only a select and reset button. also theres no pgmfi light. on the cash and no i in the badge so its not going to be efi

that center console shit is the "electronic navigator" as carotman said. most 2g ludes come with them, if you look at the clock you will see it says "electronic navigator" on it.
i believe it has to be a edm version as the rear center garnish has edm written all over it (ugly large number plate holder)
EX usually means its a 1.8l so it has to be a a18a
but anyone could have changed it
