    Lightbulb Engine swaps

I'm wondering if an S2K engine will fit in an 87 accord lx-i. Yes I know That I'll have to convert it to rear wheel drive. Does anyone know what other engines will fit in it?

I was also considering putting a 2004 honda pilot engine in there too.

If I get the S2K engine and trans I'll have to convert it to manual to accommodate the transmission.

If I get the pilot engine I'll have to make it all wheel drive and (if it would even fit) do they make any manual trans for that? I've never seen any.

I'm making this car the ultimate sleeper.

    any help is much appreciated.

    -RJ

This is to much work for not that much gain. This is a family sedan, or a family car in general. The suspension is pretty good if you have the correct setup, but putting a V6 in there is over kill. Stick with the B-series swaps and you can achieve the same effect.

You can make anything that you want fit BUT its going to require custom work.

Do you know if the JDM CRX's run B16's?

I was qouted for all the parts and labor it was way over 10k.

I might still do it though. Since i have connections to everything.

The only reason i wanted to make it V6 AWD is because it has an incredible good power to weith ratio. But my boss said that the weight of the 3.5L VTEC would snap the transaxles if i reached a high enough speed.

I havent made up my mind yet.

I keep going back and forth between the two.

Yeah, too much work and thanks for the advice dick. I'll be sure to pick up the latest magarobot and take lots of pictures. I might even use it as a hood ornament. Anyway I scrapped it. Now I have a 300zx fairlady.
