Hello i just replaced my clutch and flywheel, now when i shift into 2nd it throws is self out of gear , so what did i fuge up ? and in R when i let off the clutch it wants to stop not coast.

I stumbled across this knowledgebase while looking for something, if you go back link into this one on transmissions you wil find all kinds of stuff.
To me it sounds like the shift linkages got defunked
That torque rod needs to be installed for the linkage to work correctly. It runs from the linkage to the mid-engine of the car.

New or OLD? if old u might got a bad tranny dude...bad Synchro's are shot or in that gear anyway. My 3rd gear did the same thing, i have to hold it in LOL.

the tq rod is on and going forward is cool just 2nd gear its reverse that scares me like right after u release clutch it stops fast .. guess ill start tryin to find a Trans any one got one ? i got the money .
and how do i adjust the linkage i took off the heat shield and can not c any way to adjust,

ok so im not the only one guess ill drive it until it stops , i ordered a rebuilt one today should be here some time this year , (3-5 weeks)

yeah i bought a car just so i can get my tranny rebuilt. so far...its one of the best mods i have ever done besides the suspension/brakes
