there isn't a honda section. I guess my question is does the white wire from the btm go too the blue wire going to the coil?

blue wire on coil is and can be called used for differnt things. if its called the coil negative/ or tach signal then yes.

What does the manual say the white wire on btm goes connected to?

cut the blue wire near the coil.

    orange to blue coil side.
    white to blue distributer side.
ooh! please solder them and heat shrink them.

not picking on you but when we have a wiring question we should provide a link so we know what you have.

Its cool, I should have done that to begin with so it would be less confusing. That link is exactly what I have, so after I make my mount for it, I'll let you know. Thanks

so I ran the white wire to the blue wire coming from the dist. and my tach no longer works. Should I run the ORANGE wire to the blue wire leaving the coil?

the red(btm) and black/yellow(stock) still need to go to the positive side of the coil.
both blues need to run to the white.orange needs to go to the coil neg.
the reason your not getting a tach signal is because you only have one of the blue wires connected. one goes to the dizzy and the other goes to the tach.
